200 Key Equipment Finance Employees Team up for May 24 Annual Day of Community Service

?Neighbors Make the Difference Day? demonstrates the power of employees working together to benefit their communities.

On May 24, about 200?Key Equipment Finance?employees are stepping up for KeyCorp?s (NYSE: KEY) 22nd annual day of volunteer community service. Key Equipment Finance is the equipment leasing affiliate of KeyBank, and employees in both the company?s Superior, Colorado and Albany, New York offices will take part in the volunteer event.

Some of the company?s local Neighbors Make the Difference Day projects include:

???Boulder County Parks & Open Space:?Volunteers will prepare barns to be painted.

???Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center:?Volunteers will work on irrigation pipes, fence repair and painting, and weed pulling.

???Firefly Autism:?Volunteers will help with yard work, gardening and childproofing various areas.

???Project Linus:?Volunteers will finish partially constructed quilts and blankets.

???Town of Superior:?Volunteers will help clean and prepare the bike route for the Superior Morgul Classic cycling event.

?In just one day, our employees are making a direct impact on their communities through important work projects and fulfillment of needs for organizations that support our local citizens,? said Adam D. Colorado employees also will volunteer at A Precious Child in Broomfield; Birds of Prey in Broomfield; Bridgeway in Lakewood; City of Westminster Pottery Studio, FISH Community Food Bank in Broomfield; Habitat for Humanity building project in Denver; Habitat For Humanity Outlet Store in Wheat Ridge; and Sister Carmen Community Center in Lafayette.

Employees in Albany, New York will volunteer at Bethlehem Children?s School, Double H Ranch, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Southern Saratoga YMCA, and several other community organizations.

More than 8,000 KeyCorp employees nationwide will participate in Neighbors Day, which began in Alaska in 1991 when a group of employees volunteered for an array of service projects in their communities. The idea swept across the bank, where this year employees will donate an expected 32,000 hours, worth about $900,000. Over the 22-year history of Neighbors Day, employees nationwide have given more than half a million volunteer hours to their communities.
