Hip-Hop Community Mourns Loss of Mid-South Rap Artist

Family, friends and fans attended the funeral for young hip-hop rapper Chrishun 'Rapstar' Moore on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis. The rising rapper died on December 30?after suffering from a heart attack at the age of 21.

Up until his death, Rapstar was making his marks in the industry.?In 2008, Rapstar became the opening act for hip hop artist Bow Wow. Rapstar would later open for recording artists Yo Gotti and R&B singer Pleasure P. In 2009, Rapstar became the opening act for Young Jeezy and Plies.

Chrishun 'Rapstar' Moore leaves behind three kids, a host of family and friends who enjoyed not only his music, but his character.
